This is the first year that the school citizenship awards have been made in Churton Park.

These awards are based on the contribution made to school life, including taking on responsibilities without having to be asked. It’s all about how students contribute to school life, and the way they live their lives in school each day.

The 2015 awards ceremony took place on Thursday evening, 26 November at the Newlands Community Centre, where the Mayor of Wellington presented the awards to the winning students.

In our area the winners were

Amesbury School - Hannah Dunbar

Churton Park School - Nathan Wong.

Churton Park Community Association is a co sponsor of these awards, and join in congratulating Hannah and Nathan on their great achievements.
