Committee membership
Richard Taylor was re elected for a second term as President

Terri Taylor was elected as a new committee member.

Ed Crampton has stood down from the Committee after 7 years service.  His contributions will be missed.

Murali Kumar did not stand for re-election but all other committee members were  re-elected. The contact details for all committee members are given on the Committee Members page.

Shopping Centre Progress.
Guy Callender provided the following information:
Physiotherapist scheduled to open on 18th March
Cafe, next to pharmacy, due to open at the end of May.

Stage 2 of the development scheduled to be complete at the end of April.
The Community Centre will then be fitted out.
Also moving in to stage 2 is Guardian Real Estate office, and a fish and chip shop. There are a couple of office and retail spaces still available.

Westchester Drive Progress and Opening
A confirmed completion date for this project is not available, but it is expected to be in the next couple of months.  Some preliminary plans are being made for a public open day and walkover before the road is opened to traffic. A gold coin collection will be made with the proceeds going towards providing additional equipment in the Community Centre.


The equipment in the Burbank Reserve play area will be removed, to be replaced by better equipment to be installed in John Walker Park.

Community Centre Coordinator
Beckie Duffy, the Churton Park Community Centre Coordinator was introduced to the meeting.
